Consultancy and Planning

We offer consultancy and planning services for both Ecological Restoration and Visitor Asset Management projects.

Ecological Restoration
Kaitiaki o Ngahere provides comprehensive and holistic restoration management planning services tailored to available resources, spatial scales and differing ecosystems.

Restoration plans frequently include stakeholder consultation, field surveys, data collection / analysis and the preparation of a comprehensive restoration plan.  A restoration plan commonly includes: restoration goals; prioritised actions and project timeframes, along with monitoring and costing components.

Our plans are always focussed on the ease of implementation of the recommended actions and contain specific and detailed information to ensure that the plan is an easy-to-use document that enables the client to achieve their outcomes for the site.  Our strong practical background ensures that the recommended actions are realistic and effective.
We can provide technical expertise to  assist you  with your AEE (Assessment of Environmental Effects)/EIA(Environmental Impact Assessment) or CHI (Cultural Health Index) requirements.

Visitor Assets
Kaitiaki o Ngahere provides comprehensive and holistic visitor asset management planning services tailored to available resources, spatial scales and differing environments and terrain.

We are experienced in planning projects that ensure the safety of visitors to outdoor recreational areas as well as enhancing their experience.  We design to meet all required standards and can incorporate planning and resource requirements for all associated logistics.  Our experience ranges from planning maintenance schedules for bridges and structures, to the design of a new track routing and access structures.
